Pro-capitalists threaten to march in support of G8, July 2nd.

Pro-capitalists plan to march in Edinburgh on July the 2nd, the same day as the huge 'Make Poverty History'protests.

A group calling themselves CRAP (Capitalism Represents Acceptable Policy) claim they will be mobilising hundreds to march behind the banner 'Make Poverty Worse'.

They want to encourage the G8 leaders to do ignore the demands of oppositional protests and simply deliver 'more of the same', calling for more debt, total privatisation worldwide, more arms to countries with human rights abuses, an imminent invasion of Iran, and total ecological collapse.

At least two people (I'm not too sure about the last guy) failed to get the point of the satire. Here's a clue - actually READ the supplied links and work out what the phrase 'tongue in cheek' means. And maybe look up the word satire in the dictionary, too. Oh well.

No apparently it's all true. I've heard that this is a real group, someone told me or I read it on the internet somewhere, or someone said in a pub or something.

Also I read or heard somewhere that anti-capitalists are terrorists, Muslims are homophobic women-haters and asylum seekers all get free Porsches.

Well, if it is a joke, then by all means let "mr no name," the thought police for what is acceptable discourse, in on the fun.
