It's worth pointing out that Make Poverty History campaign runs through til the end of 2005, but more importantly Dissent! will continue beyond that, and indeed was always intended to.

But yes u have a good point, as the dust settles over the Scotland, tony blair and a bunch of popstars and A list celebs will tell us that WE DID IT!! and now we can all relax while the lovely UK Governemnt leads the G8 in solving all the problems of poverty and climate change....

(ps i got a email from Claudia Schiffer for god's sake last week telling me to email the finance ministers ahead of the london ministerial meeting - I doubt she'll be interested in mailing me after the summit when the follow ups needed)
