Entire families of Kurdish asylum seekers are being snatched in the middle of the night and immediately deported, brutally an often illegally. Children have to watch their parents being handcuffed and often beaten, after having their doors smashed and being dragged out of their beds.
The protest is organised by Kurdish activists, but they are concerned about everybody who is threatened with deportation and are calling on all national communities and refugee groups for support. The demo is so far supported by STAR, Student Action for Refugees, and the 2nd April Organising Committee.
Please turn up in Trafalgar Square and help put an end to these appalling violations of human rights.
