To coincide with the reintroduction of the Identity Cards Bill in the House of Commons on Wednesday 25 may, Home Office Minister Any Burnham will be providing an off-camera briefing for IT media at the Home Office, 2 Marsham Street.
We are also publishing tomorrow the results of the UK Passport Service biometric enrolment trial, in which over 10,000 people across the country were surveyed on their experience of face,fingerprint and iris enrolment.
