PULP STIREKE CAUSING NATIONAL EMENGENCY THREATH
Finland – Finland’s Paper Union has been having and still is having a strike at the moment.
Previously there has been lot of discussion how much power labor unions have towards employers or would have towards society. Well my friends, now we do know the answer; employers are ready to stop the industry for several weeks and pulp workers are ready to carry on their strike. And we have now some kind of a clue of the strike’s influence to economy or society. In fact pulp strike has got more severe threat towards citizen, than to any industry area; Finland has run out of toilet tissue. Most shops have run out of it, so in case you plan to come for a visit, you better bring your own tissues.
It is assumable, that Finland’s President Tarja Halonen (Social Democrat) is about to end the strike by force, when also Presidential palace runs out of toilet tissue, since she is very sensitive with these things.
