They made more than 100 arrests (120 so far), and they still keep arresting people, hours later. They broke in at at least one house. It must be the biggest riot police operation in the past years.

About 1 hour ago, people started gathering outside the police headquarters to learn what is happening and support the people arrested. The riot police, without being provoked attacked the crowd with teargasses, and kept pushing them for many kilometers. The cops are still making arrests in the center of athens while they have refused any lawyers to enter the police headquarters in order to learn about the people arrested.

There are still people "trapped" inside social centers in the center of Athens, surrounded by many cops.

Well, in order to judge a situation it is better to look at it from all the angles and to be aware of the context. The relationship between cops and citizens in greece is not the same as is is in britain. Also the last months there has been a continuous attack by parastate and fascists gangs(they work together)against social centres, refugees and anyone who doesnt follow the line. The peak was a few days ago when a cop shot more than 10 times inside the polyrechnics in Athens and injured a guy 28 years old. That is a violation of the law (not to shoot inside an academic asyloum but even to be there exercising autority). This law is been active since 1973 and it has never been broken since. It broke a few days ago.Last but not least, we should all be aware of the undercovered police who appear hooded or look like protestors. they are not 1 or 2 but dozens even hudreds. They start riots some times in order the police to find the alibi to attack and arrest rebels.Goodnight.
