S, funny to read this(well not THAT funny)only, I was in and then outside the Winter Gardens today(16th) and saw 5 0r 6 heavy type security police bods sizing up the place from outside. Funnily enough I was carrying a protest banner on a wooden stick(well its not THAT funny). No, this is no fun. The "official" Government G8 Gleneagles website says that the event is costing £10million BEFORE security costs - all due to the Government -therefore the idiot TAX Payer. Not sure how much all this "one month before the event security shit" is costing idiots in Sheffield but it will probably be a lot of filthy lucre to the plods and "Defence of the Realm" security monkeys.
Oh what fun. What fun??
