My My we are determined to keep the truth about the situation in the Middle East away from the readers of IM aren't we ?
First the original post was quickly hidden and then a second post which bought attention to this censorship was itself hidden within 4 minutes of being posted !
I wonder why the UK collective is not quite so quick to remove those false posts critical of Israel. Perhaps because the idea of Israelis (can we trust them the're Jews you know ?) and Palestinians working together, ignoring the European Left who have all the answers is just too damm scary for you.
I mean if they start talking, working together, co-operating and extending friendships what will the likes of the ISM and other conflict tourists do then ?

And perhaps it would be better if you didn't criticise the ISM and associated peace movements in palestine and israel, seeing as they don't back the PA either. In fact your post is nothing but a revolting lie aimed at communities of working class palestinians and israelis who are genuinely seeking a peaceful world, an insult to the refuseniks who refuse to bomb palestinian housing estates and an insult to the palestinian men and women who fight against islamists and arafats armies for a better and truly egalitarian solution to the problems of the region.
Hopefully your post will be deleted soon.
ps And no, i have never been to israel, some of us don't have the money or time to go jetting around to back israel or palestine, but i know many people who have friends or relatives there, and your post is quite frankly disgusting nonsense.

So, no conspiracy at all ......

As to the idea that peace is about to break out, its news to the Palestinians, who are forced to watch the walls being erected, along with all those lovely new homes in the settlements.
Haaretz doesn't seem to carry much on these amazing initiatives of which you speak. In fact they do have a story about Israwelis going into Palestinian villages, but it doesn't sound at all like the picture you paint.

22 settlers arrested eh. Oh well!!!!!
Interesting fact - the entire West Bank and Gaza are under curfew at the moment, because the Israelis are celebrating Independence Day.

Putting people under curfew isn't usually construed as a sign of friendship you know!!
Oh yes, and 60 000 Israelis are pouring into Gaza, but not to visit the Gazan's

So, I have to say that your claims that Israelis and Palestinians are "working together, co-operating and extending friendships", it looks like business as usual.
I'm in a generous mood - click on the link below for the guidelines.
