The Power of Nightmares documentary, about the myths of Neo-conservatism and of Militant Islam shown on the BBC, but too hot for American Networks is to get a film release.

Presents a misleading version of events

As in his Pandora's Box series, Adam Curtis still seems to have a corporate blindspot:

He's quite happy to attack politicians (and scientists, economists, etc), but makes little (in the case of Pandora's Box) or no (Nightmares) reference to the role corporations play in the events covered in his documentaries. Nightmares does not explain why Republicans and Democrats tend to behave in similar ways. And a reason why the BBC was happy to show it and the American networks not so happy, may have more to do with the fact that UK politics is not covered.
