Afghan Capture - Protest Thursday

Zanawiria Shinawa | 09.05.2005 14:49

A demonstration will be taking place outside the US Embassy this Thursday at 7pm in protest at the US Army capture of Abu Faraj al-Libbi

Abu Faraj al-Libbi the No. 3 man in al Qaeda was a vital cog in the fight against US Imperialism in Afghanistan and was responsible for global operations he was captured in northwest Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan, Pakistani and U.S. officials said Wednesday.

In Washington, Bush hailed the arrest of Abu Faraj al-Libbi and that of 10 other suspected al Qaeda members as a "critical victory in the war on terror." U.S. and Pakistani officials said al-Libbi and three other al Qaeda suspects were arrested Monday after a gunbattle in Mardan, a city in the country's northwest province.

Al-Libbi who heroicly mastermindinded two assassination attempts against Pakistan President Gen. Pervez Musharraf -- is a Libyan and has a $10 million bounty on his head.

Bush said "al-Libbi was a top general for bin Laden. He was a major facilitator and a chief planner for the al Qaeda network. His arrest removes a dangerous enemy who was a direct threat for America."

It is understood that al-Libbi will likely undergo a joint interrogation by U.S. and Pakistani officials. A source who has witnessed Pakistani interrogation methods said extreme psychological pressure was a hallmark of the intense sessions.

Please come and join us in protesting this arrest.

You want us to support you in a protest against the capture of a known terrorist ? The US in Afghanistan may not be something we want to see but the seizure of this man must be a good thing ?

No fan of Bush

To support this man is to support Bin Laden, your post should be deleted I do not think that Indymedia should become a mouthpiece to promote Al Qaida and ask for support for one of its members who most likely wanted to kill hundreds of British women and children, which is one of the things Bind Laden's henchmen try to achieve.

If Indymedia does not delete your post they should wonder if it is right to delete posts from the Zionists as you are all the same shit.

The fighters in Afghanistan and their brothers in Iraq are the only ones who are fighting and beating the imperialist american forces. When the americans are beaten we can replace the puppet governments they have created and bring back Sharia law and once again see our women protected and our children no longer exposed to a christian education.

From there we can extend the Islamic revolution to the rest of the world

So now we must protest the arrest of self-confessed assassins and terrorist masterminds? Whatever next?

Imperialism

Amazing! Zanawiria Shinawa complains about American Imperialism in one breath, and then professes to want to take over the world himself in the next breath. Do you actually know what "imperialism" means?

Sorry, but given a choice between the Americans or global Sharia Law with Taliban-style "protection" of women and children, I'm afraid that most would opt for the Americans. No contest.
