Nuclear bomb convoy on the road

A nuclear warhead convoy left it's base in England at 10pm this evening (Friday). We think it is carrying a full load of Trident nuclear warheads for the submarines based at Faslane. It's expected to arrive at the Coulport depot, on the Clyde in Scotland, some time tomorrow - Saturday 7th May.

We think the convoy delayed travelling to avoid any political embarrassment for the government before the election.
Three days ago Tony Blair said he supported a replacement for the Trident nuclear weapons based at Faslane despite an opinion poll showing that 78% of Scots opposed it.
