anti-G8 graffiti on A9 (near Stirling)

Stirling Re-decoration Kollektiv | 29.04.2005 11:14 | G8 2005 | Anti-racism | Globalisation

Activists from the newly formed Stirling Re-decoration Kollektiv re-decorated parts of the A9 moterway warning about the upcoming G8 summit.

The activists sprayed onto pillars and road signs on a section of the A9 moterway warning moterists of the upcoming summit which will take place only a few miles up the road. A Conservative party sign also fell victim with slogans such as "racist" and "fascist" sprayed over the front of it.

This is the first, but not the last, outing of the SRK!

How imaginative

Come on people is it really worth getting hoodied up for something so completely insipid and predicatble? Nick some decent spray paint and come up with some inspiring and imaginative slogans if your aim is to encourage opposition to the G8 in the area.

My camera broke before we got all the stuff we did and we did a lot more. I simply posted this to try and get more people to go out and spray their local places. There was a lot more slogans, this was just the beggining of the night.
