The main event of the day is a mass picnic at 2pm at Plattfields Park. We need people to bring food, instruments, music. hopefully, sunshine will be provided.

A Critical mass is meeting at one at the central library heading to the gathering.

Reclaim Mayday brings you a Guantanamo-style civil rights demo alngside the traditional Trades Unions Mayday gathering and speeches on the Saturday, ending in Market Square, a community picnic on the Quayside Meadow 1pm Mayday, and punk and anarcho gigs at the Yorkshire House.

and we've got a parachute to play with in Platt Field
