stinkbomb | 26.04.2005 15:24 | G8 2005 | Globalisation | Repression

The Dissent! agaisnt the G8 website may have been compromised. The URL returns a longish error message.

Just noticed that the website www.dissent.org.uk isn't opening in either galeon or mozilla.

The url is returning this message:

Notice: Can't open file: 'mos_session.MYI'. (errno: 145) in /home/dissent/public_html/includes/database.php on line 202

Website is back a ok.

But one wonders if it's mirrored? If not it should be in several different countires - accessible via a range of URLs. I assume is is, but if not, someone sort it out :-)

Mirroring dymanic sites

It's not easy to mirror dynamic sites, Squid is probably the only option,  http://www.squid-cache.org/

Of course having another server synced and ready to take over following a dns update would be a good thing to have... perhaps this will get set up...
