Smash Edo High Court latest

Phill S | 26.04.2005 03:44 | Anti-militarism | Repression | London | South Coast

Judge Gross yesterday deferred judgement on the injunction being sought by lawyers Lawson-Cruttenden at the High Court on behalf of Brighton war-mongers Edo/MBM.

After striking out some of the draconian restrictions applied for Gross stated that judgement wouldn't be 'tomorrow or the day after'. No conditions apply meanwhile.
On Thursday from 4-6 Edo management and staff will be reminded of the 'collateral damage' of their activities when names of the Iraqi war dead will be read out. Bring banners and placards to shame the warmongers.
Well done to friends north of the border for their part in bringing to a halt the workings of the military complex by successfully blockading an MOD weapons installation for a day. Any news on arrests, reports in the press?

Was watching the high court case yesterday and was very impressed with the two anti-war protesters who read out statements to the court.

Was a bit amused to the constant shaking of the head by the twerp in the suit, obviously an employee of the arms dealers Edo/Mbm, as the activists were reading out their statements.

What i gather from this case looking at the facts are that according to statements by the CEO of Edo/Mbm, they have certainly supplied parts to be used in Iraq.

I think that what mr Hills the employee of Edo was a bit annoyed about were references to Edo/Mbm making things for the State of Israel.

Yes it would seem that links to things made for Israel by Brighton based Edo/Mbm are a bit harder to prove.

Yet for myself I feel that as Edo the parent company has a group in Israel calling itself Edo Israel and almost certainly ships parts from the U.S to Israel.

Living in Brighton means that its fairly unlikely that im going to travel to the US or Israel to demonstrate against Edo, but hey, why should I go there? when Edo has a branch in Brighton UK.

So if it ever transpires that Ebo/MBM Brighton dont make parts used in Palestine, im still going to demonstrate against them in Brighton, as they are part of a monster that sells weapon systems to many dodgy regimes.

David Jones are you starting to regret your buy out of Mbm, maybe not such a good move selling it to Edo.

Anyway good luck in court Guys and hope that the 'Good Judge'doesnt shoot himself in the foot.

What a coincidence we both have the same name!!

Judge Gross.

I am the truth

26.04.2005 14:25

I am against the war on Iraq.

I am against all forms of stalking.

Peace protestors requesting their right to protest i.e to protest outside my clients premises can do so as long as it is for 2 hours on a Thursday and breach of this would amount to stalking(a genuine quote made to the court recently by TLC)

However I am in favour of lying, making false and misleading statements to the times newspapers and channel 4 news channels and acting like a complete weasel in court (sorry weasels)

Also I completely support people expressing their freedom of speech and the right to peacefully protest anywhere in Brighton, so long it isnt on home farm road or actually anywhere near to my claiments property.(Hmm..)

Misrepresentation

Be careful people, using 'real' names of other parties related to these issues may get you into even more legal trouble through charges of deliberate misrepresentation. Don't be so Dim.
