Official report of a Crime in Progress to Police

Tom Paine | 20.04.2005 10:04 | London

I have sent the following report of a crime in progress to Scotland Yard and Sir Ian Blair.

Dear Sir,

As I am unable to drop into your office to report this crime in person, I request that you take this statement as an official complaint by a concerned citizen and I further ask that you launch an immediate and thorough investigation into this very serious matter.

Postal Ballots are being wrongly and illegally taken to labour party offices throughout the country and illegally filled in and returned to the polling stations by labour party members at the request of Tony Blair, Philip Gould and others at 10 Downing Street.

Their aim, I believe, is to deny the British People their democratic right to openly and fairly elect their next Government.

What is under criminal attack here is our very democracy.

Bin Laden, no matter, with what, or how many times he attacked us could not be more of a threat.

I look forward to hearing of the arrest of these people in the near future.

Incidentally, any other citizen who has had their postal ballot taken or diverted should lodge a complaint with the police or Scotland Yard.
