Where are the anarchists?
Cheers | 20.04.2005 09:51 | Globalisation | London
All it took was a few hours of corralling at Oxford Circus to disband all opposition to sweat shop slavery and unfair trade, forever... The revolution is over, before it began.
Prior to the unwarranted invasion of Afghanistan on the bogus pretext of "capturing" bin Laden, I attended at least three anti-globalisation demonstrations in London, which confronted the corporate profit-mongers, protected by over-zealous and vicious riot cops who enjoy dispersing the disgruntled peeps with batons. Since September 11th, there has been no anarchic dissent to globalization, only occasional, controlled anti-war protestors taking their disapproval to Trafalgar Square in an orderly and ineffectual fashion. Meanwhile, poverty, disease and want is getting worse in the 'developing' world, illegal and unjust oil wars against Islam are escalating and the Globalists are getting richer. Soon, the G8 will be celebrating their historic victory over the disaffected populace with copious goblets of children's sacrificial blood, at the exclusive Gleneagles Club House. What are we useless-eaters going to do about it?
Cheers
