Sorry, Spoon, but I just looked at your links and what have they got to do with the things you're talking about regarding the 'IMC censorship'?. I don't really kmow where you're coming from, but it sounds like a pile of shite to me. Could you explain more thoroughly what your problem with UK IMC is?

in light of all the truth about 911 posts, i suggest that in order to stay on Indymedia pages is to

1) take a poster, like the ones posted but now hidden/lost/deleted
2) find a billboard
3) put poster on billboard

then photograph it and post it on here

then the post fulfills the requirements to be posted

as long as the poster isnt racist, xenophobic, inaccurate or rude

any munchin can post an article on here but most that do are of actions or activism.

hey fish boy, what on earth has geo-domes got to do with indymedia?
houses are square because hundreds of years of building them square has proved they work. geo-domes built by hippies in the sixties and seventies were leaky and impractical (read the dome book or shelter).

truth seekers... if you think the web sites of alex jones hold the answer then feel free to go there instead of here. The guy is a nutter (but making plenty of money out of spewing nonsense) and I'm sure you would fit right in.

sigh - just wasted my time following your links. They are both the same article, and they are suggesting an opinion, not what you say above about 'leading truth activists' blah.
and followed links (even if fucked up html means don't work without manual correction) to hidden posts - all the ones I could see there were nonsense lies about IMC (funded by blahdiblah corporate wanker) designed to provoke, providing no news or substance, or reposts of whole 911 websites which I couldn't see the point of what they were trying to say (& couldn't be bothered neither).

I thought the whole idea behind Indymedia was for the truth to be told about issues with no censorship. However, it is clear that indymedia UK IS censoring articles. The work by the groups exposing this is excellent, exactly what Indymedia UK should be doing themselves in my opinion!

Why the need for censorship, I don't know. Removal of offensive, racist, etc content, I can understand, but not covering up certain topics.

I use other means of getting the 'real and unhidden' news. If you fail to realise that articles are being censored by Indymedia, thats up to you. The information and proof is out there.

A big well done and thumbs up from me to those who are doing something about exposing this censorship. Have a drink on me!
