Sheffield reacts to the BNP's bid for power

Last night the Sheffield BNP announced that through offering seats in Sheffield to external members they had been able to field a candidate for every seat in the city.
Today, after just a few hours notice, representatives from both Sheffield and Hallam University along with local communities joined forces in signalling their opposition to the fascist parties bid for votes. In just one hour this morning over 200 leaflets were distributed to students eager to support the cause and a petition calling upon the television channels to, 'pull the plugs on the BNP' received a wealth of signatures. Towards the end of the event the groups were joined by the UAF campaign vehicle in a brief stop off from it's national tour.
Proving Sheffield's universities are still a no go zone for fascists.
