Mordechai has just heard that the restrictions on him are to be extended for another year, and to be increased. He is currently on trial for speaking to foreign journalists and attempting to go to Bethlehem on Christmas Eve to celebrate midnight mass. As a result he could face several more years in jail.
PLEASE JOIN OUR VIGIL TO SUPPORT HIM AND TO
PROTEST AT HIS TREATMENT BY THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT.

"He collected enormous amounts of information, a large part of which is still relevant, I am sorry to say ... [and] he says 'the moment that I can, I will publish it'. When a man says that he will harm national security, where does that leave us? ... [This is] a preventive step and we have no choice but to use it."
by this logic vanunu will never be allowed to leave israel. is that really the government position? vanunu has repeatedly said he has no new information to divulge. the israeli government, without presenting any evidence, can keep asserting the contrary indefinitely. who to believe? the man who spent 18 years in jail for telling the truth or a bunch of vocational liars?
