Next Nottinghamshire Indymedia Meeting

Various groups and individuals from around Nottinghamshire are in the process of setting up an Independent Media Centre. Plans for the project include a radiostation, website, print out and a training group to work within various communities.

The next Nottinghamshire IMC meeting will be on Tuesday 26th April, 7.30pm, at the Sumac Centre.

just wanted to say i was at last night's meeting and it was really impressive. there's a long way to go, but it's clear already that there's plenty of people willing to put in the effort when needed.

also, the conversations last night were much broader than the basic Indymedia website, ranging over a whole host of activist and community media ideas. hopefully many of these plans will be realised. basically there's shed loads of stuff to do if people want to get involved.

long may nottingham's activist scene prosper!!
