10,000 black Africans are being killed every month in Darfur, Sudan at the hands of state-sponsored Janjaweed militias, in the world's 'worst humanitarian crisis' (Egeland). The British government fiddles and avoids the issue while Darfur burns.

While Jack Straw accepts genocide is being committed, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office maintain that responsibility for security of the black Africans who are being obliterated lies with the Government of Sudan. However, almost certainly, as well as local Arab tribal leaders, commonly now called Janjaweed, those organising the genocide include individuals who hold senior positions in the Government of Sudan.

It's not famine, it's not an earthquake, its not a tsunami, it's not a natural disaster. It's genocide. Even Straw has admitted this. One person murdered, then another, then another... But if we want to stop it, we can.
