BNP stand in all wards but Brightside

It has long been predicted that the BNP will only field candidates in Hillsborough, Heeley and Brightside.

However today the BBC website lists candidates for every ward except for Brightside. this means much of the UAF campaigning already begun in Brightside has been wasted. Anti Fascists need to refocus their campaign.

Time is running out! Sheffield Unite Against Fascism urges everyone to support the campaign to prevent the BNP gaining a base in Sheffield.

Please join the leafleting sessions below or contact us on 07890 131 138 if you wish to leaflet your locality on another occasion. Please email SUAF with the names of the streets completed. We will supply leaflets and posters on request.

Also contact us if your trade union branch, community group or faith group would like a speaker from SUAF to discuss the campaign.

Hillsborough constituency:

Saturday 16th April leafleting outside Hillsborough shopping centre from 10am until 12 midday.

Saturday 30th April leafleting outside Hillsborough shopping centre from 11am until 1pm.

Heeley Constituency:

Saturday 16th April leafleting. Meet Blackstock Hotel on Gleadless Road at 10.30am.

Saturday 23rd April leafleting. Meet Norton Pub at Meadowhead at 11am.

Brightside Constituency:

Thursday 21st April leafleting. Meet outside Hinde House School on Shiregreen Lane at 6.30pm.

Saturday 30th April leafleting. Meet outside Hinde House School on Shiregreen Lane at 10am.
