Police Fail to Destroy our Dreams

Last Ash Wednesday [in February as reported already] there was a protest at the Oxford Army Recruitment Office in St Giles. This pic, only obtained very recently, enables you to see just how well the police handled the situation.
The dream catcher had already caught two potential recruits who were made to crawl under it by the army man seeing them out. 'Good practice' he said.
Eventually these two brave Police Officers turned up, crawled up the steps and disappeared into the office. From there they peeked through the window trying to write our descriptions in their little books. Then their
sergeant turned up and advised them it was time to ask us to dismantle the dream catcher. We were not willing to do this as we wanted to close the recruiting office permanently so we declined and the officers came out with a large pair of scissors from the office and cruelly cut up the dream - leaving us with the nightmare of even more young men going to Iraq to be sacrificed for the goal of Global what'sit.
