It was a nice sunny day for the demo today which had a broad spectrum of people on it. Top prize for imagination goes to Manchester No Borders  http://www.manchesternoborders.org.uk/ for their Brides Without Borders contingent -- "Did you know that you can no longer marry a non-european without permission from the British Secretary of State?"

It was really nice that queer and women's rights issues were well integrated into this demo: 'Moses must stay. A right to be gay.' But brides without borders should remember that many people cannot marry across borders anyway because of their sexuality!
