Until Every Cage is Empty

imc uk | 30.03.2005 23:38 | Animal Liberation

March 19th, Yorkshire. A noisy march made a 2 mile journey through Harrogate, Yorkshire making its way to the site of Covance, where a new primate lab is reportedly planned. The march was accompanied by a huge police presence.

Five years after 64 beagle dogs were killed in experiments by the company, the march had a two fold significance: to draw attention to the ever expanding Covance site and their plans for primate specialisation and to mark the 5th anniversary of the demise of these innocent victims of corporate madness.

Dog Murderers

I'd just like to add my belated congratulations and thanks to those people who marched in memory of the 64 dead dogs. It's heartening to know there are so many people out there with the time and with energy enough to march for our canine friends.

I'm sure that if the situation was reversed and 64 people had died or been killed, then the dogs would march straight into those cages and probably offer themselves up for experimentation to save the humans. That's what dogs are like. Caring, intelligent, kind and generous. Dogs deserve the same treatment as anyone.

Long live dogs (and cats).
