Listen to them speaking! In the last days of February activists from different countries gathered in Tuebingen - small German town with neogothic architecture - to solve urgent problems of practical preparation to the antiG8 campaign in July in Scotland. People shared their ideas or proposals by the items. Various solidarity projects were discussed. During the workshops we could realize that building links with official media is also vital in global process of antiglobalization movement.
Listen to them speaking! Sakes alive, journalists from one of well known Scottish TV-channels came to Tuebingen. Why? Maybe they were planning to break up successful career and get rid of money power. Our Russian Initiative Media Group was interested to know what were they[official representatives of Mass Media] searching for, what were they expecting to see at that "Dissent!" meeting.
Listen to them speaking! In order to "build links" with official media we interviewed journalists from Scotland. So, listen to them speaking.

Good interview, thanks! Perhaps someone could post here the link to the actual report which they ended up making, with the one German academic who agreed to speak to them?? And then we can compare what they said they wanted to provide (a platform for Dissent!'s views, a guide on how to get to Scotland and what to expect when you get there) with the truth...

The report they filed, with images from Genoa and reports of "a man being killed and dozens injured" at similar protests, can be found here:
