'Leaflets Trouble' by anti-Straw group outside Blackburn mosque

A group of muslim campaigners were assaulted in Blackburn yesterday when distributing leaflets urging people not to vote for Jack Straw in the upcoming general election.

POLICE are investigating claims by leafleters handing out anti-Jack-Straw flyers outside a Blackburn mosque that they were set upon by Muslim worshippers.
The three men, from political steering group Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPAC), were outside the Bicknell Street mosque when trouble flared yesterday at 1.30pm.
