"It's not racist to impose limits on immigration" - this is the message that the Tories have plastered up on billboards all over the country. Whatever the subtleties of it, the obvious intention here is to exacerbate and exploit the current climate of racism and xenophobia, as a lot of people have already commented here:

Although we all know the racist subtext, but the message itself is not racist. Anyway, Britain already has limits on immigration with visa controls.

Why not start a campaign stating: "It is not Islamist to kick Westerners out of the Middle East"?
