Women In Black is a global network of women who use non violent direct action, vigils and bearing witness to directly oppose war and violence.

'Women In Black is a worldwide network of women committed to peace with justice. We are actively opposed to injustice, war, militarism and other forms of violence. (We held) a silent vigil, this was the first Women In Black action in Bristol and we hope it will lead to more. All women who support these aims, and non violent forms of action, are welcome'
