Invitation to join the student occupation of the main UCL building on March 18th

We've organised a student occupation of the main UCL building on March 18th, to build for and provide accomodation for students who've travelled down for the big international demo to end the occupation of Iraq on March 19th. (with confirmation from various different unis across the country)

We're providing a space for people to come together, discuss and create, with planned workshops on :- direct action, the G8 Summit in July, protest as a tool for change, samba protest (samba music workshop by sambistas from rhythms of resistance - instruments will be provided) , pirate radio, and live streaming of the occupation via rampARTs radio (www.rampartradio.co.nr), plus film showings, speakers, food (provided by a local vegan collective), and a big space for banner making.
A line up of musicians from the Revolutionation and Peace Not War soundsystems will be performing:- The Rub, Planetman, Angel, Abstract + DForm crew, plus Rhythms of Resistance samba band.
We're going to leave the UCL Quad at 11am the next day, with the Samba band and some of the performers to march down to join the main demo on Hyde Park Corner.

If you'd be interested in taking part, then meet in the UCL Quad, Gower Street (Euston or Warren St Tube), Friday 18th March 5.30pm. Or if you would be happy coming to help set up a little earlier, we'll be setting up the space from 4pm.
