Thanks for your constructive comments Ed. That's the spirit. Always good to piss on peoples fireworks when they've put a load of energy into something. Tosser.

I thought it sounded cool. Keep up the good work radio people :-)

Grrrrr

well it was interesting, worth listening to etc, i would just have liked some more stuff talking to people on the streets and that, like the stuff imc'er did with the post office n' the demo n' that.

Well anyway no offence.

Hey, at least Ed made a few suggestions and offered some help instead of just bitching or lurking. Don't be so harsh, Grrr.

For what it's worth, I agree with some of Ed's comments. I know Iraq is important, but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to fall asleep/cue through/switch off during a long reading about it. The other two items were much easier to listen to. I'm surprised you didn't include an edit of the post office phone call.

Personally, I didn't mind the music, as I'd not heard them before, but I'd be surprised if any of you were listening to them for fun. I also suggest getting a few more typical local accents in there - this is Cambridge, after all. I think I only spotted two (or maybe one speaking twice at different recordings?) in the G8 item. For a speech-based show, we need voices that are easy to listen to and they don't get much easier than local for us.

It's pretty good for a first outing. Will the second improve?
