We now live in a police state

George Orwell | 12.03.2005 00:05

Today a law came into force that mean that people in Britain can be arrested and held in prison indefinitely without having the opportunity to hear the evidence against them or the opportunity to prove that they are not guilty of a charge - there is no charge.

This abolishes magna carta and the basic safeguards for dissent of liberal democracy against the state.

What are we going to do?

Good question

They've won the battle, but the war's not over yet... We need to keep working to expose the real agenda behind all of this. At the moment a lot of mainstream people are still blinded by fear of "the terrorists", and don't see how dangerous this legislation is. But if a million people marched against this new law, Blair wouldn't have such an easy ride...

em um...NO

Coz when 1 million marched against the war on Iraq Blair blinked? He didnt even break a sweat coz thats the type of fascist fucker he is. Supposedly western democracy is about representing teh people who elected you. This has never been done, the system is a complete failure and the only way for there to be true democracy is for people to take the power away from the upper class who runs the world on upper class interests. But till then i fear were gonna see a lot more wars, deaths and provocation from the oppressing imperialist west.
As for now officially living in a police state......its been that ways ince they stunk up this country with cameras, and filled space with sattelites. Theyve known exactly whats going on for decades, they can tap in on your phone at any time, intercept mobile phone txts and the 2000 and 2001 terror laws were already oppressive enough as it is.
FUCK THE FASCISTS

1 millionth

You have been warned

A transit van was waiting for "1 millionth" outside the internet cafe, and after being given a good kicking by our boys, Charles Clarke signed the control order. He will no longer be using the internet, and is banned from using mobile phones, attending any event with more than 1 person present, and is under a 12 hour curfew. His electronic bracelet looks good on him as well.

We know who you are, we will no longer tolerate such attacks on our beloved leader, and the law is now truly on *our* side.

Long live Freedom and Democracy.

Has the UK gone Ukraine? The USA has gone to the border wolves who transport coke and heroin and who have offices in Texas and D.C. and other transit points. They bought the USA government with Sacramento change, laundered money and money swindled through America's financial system.

Zeroes of a new variety with a new radar are needed and a transport ship off of the planet for eternity.

Sacramento Change FDIC, San Francisco Gay Strike FDIC left neutered mast'a dic. FDIC.

Medieval Britain had inalienable rights

13.03.2005 11:05

The Magna Carta has been applicable throughout countless wars and invasions of our land, but now, in a time of peace, it has been made redundant and our representatives are not mindful to keep its statutes which were intended to stand in all places, forever.

TO ALL FREE MEN OF OUR KINGDOM we have also granted, for us and our heirs for ever, all the liberties written out below, to have and to keep for them and their heirs, of us and our heirs:

+ (38) In future no official (Charles Clarke) shall place a man on trial upon his own unsupported statement, without producing credible witnesses to the truth of it.

+ (39) No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgement of his equals or by the law of the land.

+ (40) To no one will we sell, to no one deny or delay right or justice.

+ (45) We will appoint as justices, constables, sheriffs, or other officials, only men that know the law of the realm and are minded to keep it well.

+ (63) IT IS ACCORDINGLY OUR WISH AND COMMAND that the English Church shall be free, and that men in our kingdom shall have and keep all these liberties, rights, and concessions, well and peaceably in their fulness and entirety for them and their heirs, of us and our heirs, in all things and all places for ever.

Both we and the barons have sworn that all this shall be observed in good faith and without deceit. Witness the abovementioned people and many others.
