Independent media group subMedia, has completed a short film inspired by crimethinc's book 'Days of War, Nights of Love'. The short is entitled 'Why I Love Shoplifting from Big Corporations'. It is a short story of a young American striving to survive in a corporate dominated world. The film 'steals' portions of a chapter of the crimethinc tome and uses punk rock by Black Mona Lisa as a soundtrack.
This is subMedia's second attempt at adapting a portion of crimethinc's masterpiece. The first one was 'Join the Resistance: Fall in Love' which was downloaded over 100,000 times and was screened worldwide from Manila to Berlin.
'Shoplifting is part of a new DVZ (DVD/Zine) entitled 'Molotov'. To view the film go to http://WWW.SUBMEDIATV.COM
