eileen | 27.02.2005 11:24 | Culture | Gender | Oxford

An exhibition of traditional Palestinian embroidery and South African story telling through tapestry. Presented to you by Keiskamma Art Project (www.keiskamma .org) and Network of Oxford Women (NOW) for Justice and Peace (www.nowpeace.org.uk)

The exhibition displays exquisite work from some of the poorest women in the world, showing people's pride and history in glowing colours.

It will be held from 8th to 18th of March in Oxfordshire Record Office, formerly St Luke's Church, Temple Cowley. It is actually very accessible by public transport, so don't be put off by the fact that it's a couple of miles from the city centre.
For more information, contact the Record Office on 01865 398200
