US failure to ratify Kyoto drew strong criticism from critters

Interestingly, there were dozens of Americans out demonstrating against Bush, identifiable by signs such as "Hands off our Social Security" (the Bush administration plans to privatize the old-age pensions scheme) and the more direct "Fuck Off to My President".
