Did you watch the whole film?

I did fear for comments like yours on this forum. IMs readers can show a stunning dogma that blinds them to anything. Even in the first part of the film I suggest that if you open your eyes and brain you will see the film is not 'pro', the style of editing and music is clearly tongue in cheek, mocking even, but it does truly reflect the zeitgeist of the event. Also think on this my fine friend, I showed what we saw, surely that is the only way. If I went on a operation with the sabs I would also show what i saw.... are you implying it is acceptable for a film maker to deliberately distort their film ? Isnt that why so many here appear to hate the real media? You want me to do the same? Those are the techniques used in campaigning and propoganda films, and I have made those, but this was not one of those.

Hope this helps.

Mark.

What's the prob?

The only thing wrong with the film is the use of the Pomp and Circumstance march. Silly to have a post-Victorian flag-waver IMHO.

But the content is no different to what I witnessed in Oxfordshire where about a thousand people were out in support of the hunters. You sabs are just going to have to get used to the fact that a great many ordinary, regular folks simply don't agree with you.

Pro Hunt no. Lazy Yes

I wouldn't say the film is pro hunting but i think its very lazy and easy to edit together these sequences with classical music also using the same shot about five times ?
Fox hunting is clearly not as black and white as its right or wrong i think its time for an intelligent debate and i wouldn't critisise a film that humanises hunters . they are humans. and so are protesters that both feel strongly about the issue .
Good and bad on both sides which is the way of the world .
