It's just 3 months since the battle for Fallujah: a massive onslaught by the US forces involving air bombardment, tank fire and groud troops.
But what really happenend inside the city? Did the US really rid it of insurgents? What became of the people who lived there?
In a special report a hospital doctor from Baghdad travelled to the Fallujah area to find out. Dr Ali Fadhil went first to Habbanyah a town to which some of the Fallujah's 350,000 residents fled when the Americans attack began.

The film begins with the demonstration in Washington. In front of the capital, we see veterans come before the crowd and throw their medals away.
