Awareness Raising Event, 10th March 2005
7.00pm at University of Manchester Students Union
In line with feedback from our last event, on the 10th March we want to focus on information/education about the G8 and related issues. (Workshops on campaigning methods and direct action to be held at subsequent events).
There will also be reports back from the recent Glasgow Dissent! gathering, and the upcoming international Dissent! meeting at Tubingen-am-Neckar.

CALL FOR WORKSHOPS
We are therefore calling for workshops for the 10th March event. Workshops should focus on information/education about the G8 at this stage, and be about 40 minutes duration. Providers should speak for no more than 20 minutes (less is fine), in order to allow time for questions and discussion. If you can provide a workshop, please e-mail
G8manc@yahoo.co.uk a proposal of no more than 200 words by 6pm on Thursday 24th February, or preferably, attend our organising meeting on the same day (7.30pm in the Students Union).
