Falah Alwan, leader of the radical Federation of Workers' Councils and Unions in Iraq, is in Britain and will be speaking at a meeting hosted by University of London Union on Wednesday February 16 at 7.30pm.
Falah Alwan is president of the Federation of Workers' Councils and Unions in Iraq, a radical trade union federation that has opposed the reformist policies of the Iraqi Federation of Trade Unions and led many struggles by workers and the unemployed in Iraq. Come and hear him speak about the struggle of Iraqi workers and what we can do to build solidarity.
