Barclays funding dodgy initiatives...again

Protest against Barclays Bank financing of 2 controversial projects: the Trans-Thai-Malaysia gas pipeline and Omkareshwar Dam in the Narmada Valley, India.

Barclays are financing the gas pipeline, and are arranging financing for the Dam, having already given the company building the dam a $28 million corporate loan

Following on from a meeting before christmas with Thai and Indian representatives from the campaigns it has been decided to hold a protest outside Barclays Bank on
Cornmarket Street, on Tues 15th Feb from 12-2pm.

There will be flyers to give out, info boards and letters to sign, and help is muchly appreciated :)
