G8: Summat for the Summit
Squatticus | 08.02.2005 19:00 | G8 2005 | Anti-militarism | Globalisation | Social Struggles
The G8-summit is coming to Britain in July. This is going to be a big event. We need to organise now.
Summat for the Summit aims to build a network of Manchester people interested in opposing the G8, and raising awareness of it. We want to work within the wider Dissent! network.
Come along and find out more, and bring your own ideas (very welcome, but far from obligatory!).
There will be a report back of preparations in Scotland, a couple of short films, and a ample opportunity to mingle, ask questions, and inform others.
Thursday 10th February, 7.30pm
Council Chamber, Manchester Uni Students Union
Further info:
Groups wishing to have a stall can phone/text 07960 890758. (Or turn up on the night, but space is somewhat limited, and a first-come-first-served system will operate).

Old World Bank Wanker: "by jingo! is that the opposition?"
Young World Bank Wanker: "yes, sir"
Old WB: "well dear boy, maybe we should return some money to the pre-schools literacy project"
Young WB: "very well, sir"
lets show them we mean bussiness [is war!!]
