Positive Global Movements started yesterday Sunday the 6th with a nice turn up, we showed 'The Alberdi School' a film about the community involvement in revolutionising education in Venezuela. Then we had musicians and poet Sofia and Santiago both Peruvian artists reciting poetry and singing to the beat of the Global Revolution. After having lovely Venezuelan food Ricardo Galindez Venezuelan trade unionist gave a passionate speech about the role of the workers in the revolution not only in Venezuela but also in the world.

Today Monday the 7th of February we are celebrating the achievements of the Bolivians on stopping privatisation of their natural resources and discussing new ways of empowering ourselves not only nationally but also globally to consolidate our achievements and expand people's power. We are also showing today 'The Coconut Revolution' a film about an small island in the pacific that showed a multinational corporation they don’t need them to administrate their resources.

Tomorrow Tuesday we are showing "The Take" a film made by Nohemi Klein and her husband about the workers taking over a factory in Argentina followed by a talk by Josef Davis-Coates about the Open.coop. www.open.coop.
