A service aiming to unite Christians in Godly Lurve and Rotund Thankfulness ended up with members of The God Squad walking out in a holy huff last Sunday. It was held at Dover Salem (sic) Baptist Church and marked the start of Christian Unity Week. Whoops! The preacher was Fr. Francis Capener, a former C. of E. bod who has now left the sinking ship and gone to Rome to slavver on the Pope's slippers.

The Worthy Rev delivered unto the assembled Righteous Christers a tirade about Islam, abortion, gays and euthanasia. The Area Dean walked out as did Rev Mike Walling and other local clergy. Afterwards, "Father" Capener did not comment.

The moral of the story, boys and goils, is this: UBI CARITAS ET AMOR, DEUS IBI EST. Where there is Charity and Love, God is there. Or not, in this case.
