In commemoration of the 2005 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day these images from the 18 January 2003 A.N.S.W.E.R Anti-War Demonstration in WDC ... have never before been seen ... since they were not processed until 12 January 2005.

Demonstrators would first gather on the National Mall for an 11am Rally. At 1pm they would March from the National Mall via Independence and Pennsylvania Avenues pass the US Capitol to 8th Street and then turn right where and when passing the Marine Corp Barracks they'd encounter Pro-War Counter demonstrators before reaching their final destination which was the Navy Yard, an historic Defense Installation located on M Street in SE Washington DC. Where they'd hold a second rally that would last into the afternoon.
