The Balata Film Collective has produced its first film, 'Elections under Occupation'. Palestinians from the camp speak out about the the upcoming elections to the Palestinian National Authority on January 9th 2005.
The Balata Film Collective was set up in the past few months to support local resistance and enable camp residents to raise their voices to the world.
Recently, one of the co-founders of the balatacamp.net projects, Kely Minio-Paluello, was arrested and deported by the Israeli military.
