LONDON RISING TIDE FILM NIGHT presents

THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW + Cheeky Apocalypse

The Day After Tomorrow is Hollywood's highly
melodramatic take on climate chaos - does it work as a
wake-up call, or is it just entertainingly hysterical
popcorn-fodder?

Cheeky Apocalypse is an explosive short film
highlighting the way UK television dealt with the
record-breaking heatwave of August 2003.

The screening is free, and will be followed by a
discussion and food. This will be a space to chat and
share ideas for action on issues raised by the films.

London Rising Tide takes creative direct action on the
root causes of
climate chaos, and promotes socially just, ecological
alternatives to fossil fuel madness. We have planning
meetings most Thursday nights at LARC. Come along and
check things out. Please make contact before coming to
