I wish I could report to you that there really were masses of Americans who were out there protesting for things to be really different --- end the occupation of Iraq, stop meddling in affairs of places like Haiti, stop corporate greed, stop the destructioon of the environment. I wish the only reason you weren't hearing about these things was that the media WAS censoring events, misdescribing events as protests involving less than 1% of the people when it was really 10%, 20@, 50%.

Sorry, just ain't so. Here I am, living in the hills of Western Massachusetts, about as "left" as it gets in the US (in the 2000 election Bush came in THIRD in some of our hill towns). Even HERE you will SOMETIMES see a banner hanging from a bridge, sometimes see a couple dozen people with signs on the town common, etc. No big protests.

McCain - Too Old and Out of Touch to Be President

For years, McCain has wanted to be President. Not to help Americans and make a real difference. He... LIKE BUSH, Just wants to BE President to satisfy his own EGO.

Since being President is now within his grasp, McCain will do or say ANYTHING to get elected.

This is his dream... and it will be America's Nightmare if he get's elected. As bad as Bush, maybe worse. Half of the people in the US realizes this, unfortunately the other half don't.

He was recently asked how many homes he has and he was unable to answer the question. Fact is... he has 7 worth 13 Millions Dollars. So when many Americans are trying to hold on to the house they have, RICH Republican McCain has SEVEN HOMES!

McCain has no idea how difficult it is for most people to try and pay their bills and survive in American today. He therefore does not understand the needs of average Americans and, like BUSH, will not Represent Average Americans. If he were to get elected President, he would (Like BUSH) TOTALLY forget about the Millions of people who voted for him.

I really do not dislike McCain... he is simply is too old... is sometimes out of touch with reality and is (like BUSH) not qualified to be President.
