Merseyside Free Information Network is celebrating years of creating alternative media in Liverpool with a party to raise money for printing issue No 8.
The event will be held on Saturday Dec 18th , 8pm til 2am, at Mount Carmel Social Club, High Park St, Toxteth, Liverpool, L8, Admission £3
FINs (Free Information Networks) are activists working locally to produce and distribute lists of useful free information. Merseyfin normally includes news, reviews, contacts, stories on events, protests, parties, local environmental, anticapitalist and animal rights issues and makes for a bloody good read.
Appearing at the benefit on Saturday night will be Bands: The Bendal Interlude, After the Massacre, Redpanda, The Brittle Machine, with more to be confirmed and Open Mike. Poets, DJs - Gobber, Blo and Kinny, Raffle, Speakers, Chaos, Laughter, Tarpey and Stan the Harp.
The venue is on High Park St, just off Park Rd, Buses 82 and 20 from town to Park Road end of High Park St. Buses 75,80,35 to Princes Road end (bit of a longer walk).
The Club is close to corner of Admiral St.
High Park St is opposite Toxteth, Park Road, Job Centre.
