Crossrail, a rail line to benefit rich City workers get between the City of London and Canary Wharf and Heathrow, is set to cost London taxpayers over £15bn at 2002 prices. The expensive scheme is backed by the Government privatisation architect Adrian Montague, who has cost the taxpayers billions while accumulating mass bonuses and lining the pockets of law firms, banks, accountancy and development companies.

Crossrail is a highly expensive railway line that will not even be able to pay its operational costs. It will also land grab land from London's poor east end communities to command them as its own to develop them for large profits pocketed by unscrupulous criminal developers - all of this will be to fund an unnecessary line that will benefit the City and allow it to make artificial claims about the need for office space - falling year on year. Oh the sad games unimaginative City folk play but why at the expense of the imaginative, creative and interesting people that don't?
